TEHRAN -- Hot Docs, the Canadian international documentary festival is scheduled to screen four Iranian movies in its “Spotlight on Iran” section this year.

“Tehran Has No More Pomegranates” (Masud Bakhshi), “The Red Card” (Mahnaz Afzali), “Where Do I Belong” (Mahvash Sheikholeslami), and “It Is Always Late for Freedom” (Mehrdad Oskuii) are the four Iranian entries.
“Head Wind” by Iranian filmmaker Mohammad Rasulof will have its first international screening at the international spectrum section.
The process of making documentaries in Iran will also be discussed at “Iran to You” session on April 24, in which Iranian filmmakers will take part.
A total of 170 films from 36 countries will go on screen in ten different sections of the festival which will run from April 17 to 27.
